Members of the Club continue to be active using Satellite coms:
“Been sitting up the garden testing the new loop I Made for the wonder loop. Couple of contacts. Mutch stronger signal on the new loop. To be expected new loop has more surface area”.

Now have two microHubs one for the house and one for the car. cracking bits of kit. Can be controlled by DTMF from your radio or from your phone by Wi-Fi on your phone or Tab when mobile.
All-Star network or Echo-link. even connects to the win or wan system. The hub with the external antenna socket. can be used on your mag mount to give you control of the hub when parked and walking with your handy.
Hubs made by Peter G7RPG. Hub runs on 12v and a minimum of 2amps dc.
I am running mine from 12v alarm battery in the boot of the car.
thinking of making a 12v 12amp Wi-Fi switch to switch on and off remotely.

Good field day at 2nd Llandaff, Cardiff Cubs Jota.
Antenna worked well, great day had by all and hopefully some new young Amateurs for the future!
